Microsoft PowerPoint files are formatted as .PPTX files. Recommended PowerPoint versions include PowerPoint 2008 or newer on a Mac or PowerPoint 2007 or newer on a PC. Additionally, a compressed version of the Email it! PDF is included. If edits to the Email it! file are desired, it's recommended that you export the file to a PDF and compress the file to reduce the overall size of the email. Suggestions are provided in the Support Documents folder included with the fie on how to compress PDFs on both Mac and PC.

By purchasing a "module" from Cogent Solutions, LLC, which includes all "files" (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, PDFs, etc.), you (the "user") obtain a a non-exclusive and limited license with respect to the module contents. Each license is granted to an individual school and cannot be shared with other schools, even within the same school district. This limited license allows for the following uses:

Can be used for

Unlimited professional development use at your school. Any file may be distributed to or edited by administrative staff members only, or those staff members at your school responsible for delivering professional development. At no time should teachers have access to editable files. 

Cannot be used for 

Professional development at more than one school. Any distribution of files to any staff (i.e. Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, etc.) not assigned directly to your school is expressly prohibited. This means that staff are prohibited from sharing files with other schools for any purpose, even if schools are part of the same district. All files provided in a module are for presentation purposes only. Files may not be distributed to teachers in any format, with the exception of the "Email it!" PDF version provided in the module.
